This role sits as part of the Network Operations Team, providing analytical input and insightful outputs to support the logistics network in achieving its strategic objectives
Reporting to the Supply Chain Execution Manager, you will design, develop and maintain resource forecasting models, working with logistics leadership team members to identify, plan and realise improvement benefits.
Drawing on your toolkit of skills and proven experience your other key objectives will be:
- Maintain and develop performance KPI reporting to support operational performance management
- Participate actively with fellow Supply Chain functions throughout lifecycle of improvement projects providing logistics network specific analysis and insights
- Provide Distribution and Fulfilment Centre operational analysis inputs as part of Logistics Network redesign, supporting the definition of our future state operations
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred – preferably discipline related
- Advanced analytical & modelling skills
- Retail industry knowledge or experience
- Supply chain related experience preferred
- Understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Highly proficient in Excel and SQL
- Must be proficient in at least one visual analytics tool: PowerBI/MicroStrategy is preferential
- Experience in forecasting and planning roles
- Ability to think both logically and creatively
- Strong commercial acumen
- High degree of organisation and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Effective internal relationship building
- Understanding of operational labour management preferred
- Understanding of Logistics systems preferred
