Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Partner closely with various internal stakeholders to manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial activities and leading financial and business process improvements and automation.
- Take charge of preparing quarterly, and annual financial statements and other critical financial filings.
- Partner with internal and external auditors, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to support financial flows and systems across the company.
- Present financial data to local and global finance leadership and management, providing key insights to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including US GAAP and Israeli GAAP.
- Support the Finance SOX program and actively contribute to the development and implementation of robust financial policies and procedures.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing valuable recommendations to drive financial performance.
- Support the hedging process, multiple currency transactions, and analysis.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting activities, playing a crucial role in strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within a global medical device company.
- CPA certification with prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Advanced Excel skills, demonstrating the ability to handle complex financial data and models.
- Capability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Understanding the importance of meeting reporting schedules and deadlines.
