General Manager - Game Lodge - Skukuza, Mpumalanga [South Africa]


 
As the General Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Directing and managing the Lodge, Food & Beverage, Operations, and Finance & Administration Divisions to ensure efficient, profitable, and high-quality operations.

Ensuring the profitability, employee relations, and customer relations aspects of the lodge are effectively addressed.

Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organisational goals.

Key Duties:
Provide leadership and guidance to department heads in achieving operational excellence.

Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control measures.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance employee relations.

Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the lodge and attract new business.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Understanding of customer service principles and employee relations.
